Your Safety matters. here’s who to call.

IMPORTANT— Please read before beginning services with Felt Counseling LLC.

This page provides mental health crisis resources to individuals in Ohio and Florida, including 24/7 support lines, emergency services, and local crisis intervention options.

Felt Counseling LLC is a telehealth therapy practice— not a crisis intervention service.

As a telehealth provider I am not able to dispatch emergency services, conduct in-person welfare checks, or provide 24/7 crisis support.

This is not a limitation of care— it is a commitment to making sure you have the right level of support at the right time, and are connected to the appropriate level of care.

In a crisis, that means connecting you with people what are specifically trained and available around the clock. The resources below include national support as well as options specific to Ohio and Florida

If you are in immediate danger, do not wait. Call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room.

If you are looking for ongoing therapy for trauma, mood disorders, or relationship challenges and are not currently in crisis, you can explore the rest of the site to learn more about working together.

MY CRISIS PROTOCOL AS YOUR THERAPIST

As a client of Felt Counseling LLC, here is what you can expect:

  • At intake — we will build a personalized safety plan together identifying your warning signs, coping strategies, support contacts, and crisis resources.

  • During sessions — if I assess that you may be at risk I will work with you directly to connect you to the appropriate level of care.

  • Between sessions — I am not available for crisis support. Please use the resources on this page.

  • Telehealth limitations — as a virtual provider I cannot perform in-person wellness checks. If I have serious safety concerns and cannot reach you, I may contact emergency services based on your last known location.

SAFETY PLANNING

At the start of our work together we will build a personalized safety plan. This includes:

  • Your personal warning signs

  • Internal coping strategies

  • People and places that provide support

  • Crisis contacts specific to you

  • Steps to make your environment safer during a crisis

Safety planning is standard practice — not a red flag. It means we take your wellbeing seriously from day one.

If you are in crisis right now— call or text 988 or 911
